The Galleries project moves forward with Multimedia Centre planning application

A planning application for a Multimedia Centre has been submitted by the developers of the Wigan Galleries shopping centre.

The plans include a ten-pin bowling alley, six-screen cinema, climbing wall and indoor mini-golf attraction.

The redevelopment will also include housing, retail and food and drink areas with the first phase – the New Market Hall – due to be completed by 2024.
